During my speaking at CuriousCore, I had the opportunity to share insights on the contrasting aspects of designing for the Western market at Viki and the Asian market at Carousell. I discussed the nuances, challenges, and key considerations involved in catering to these distinct markets. Additionally, I imparted valuable lessons learned from my personal experience transitioning from a UX individual contributor to a managerial role, emphasizing the skills and mindset required for successful career growth and leadership in the design field.

As a newly appointed Design Manager, I had the privilege of being invited to a prestigious design school (in Taiwan) to provide inspiration and encourage individuals from non-design backgrounds to embrace challenges and gain confidence in their work.
